SDG&E is required to procure GHG Compliance Instruments to satisfy its obligations under California’s Cap & Trade Program “the Program”. Compliance Instruments can be CARB issued Allowances or CARB approved Offsets. Up to 8% of an entity’s compliance obligation can be met with offsets.
