Clean Energy Alliance (CEA)

The city of Solana Beach began service in 2018 as the Solana Energy Alliance, and later joined the cities of Carlsbad and Del Mar in 2021 to form Clean Energy Alliance (CEA). CEA is a California Joint Powers Authority formed as a CCA to provide power to residents of the following cities  

  • Carlsbad
  • Del Mar
  • Escondido
  • Oceanside
  • San Marcos
  • Solana Beach
  • Vista

Please note: Net Energy Metering (NEM) customers will transition during their annual true-up month.

San Diego Community Power (SDCP)

San Diego Community Power (SDCP) began service to municipal and business customers in 2021 and expanded to residential customers in 2022. SDCP is a California Joint Powers Authority formed as a CCA to provide power to residents of the following cities in SDG&E’s service territory:

  • Chula Vista
  • Encinitas
  • Imperial Beach
  • La Mesa
  • National City
  • San Diego
  • Unincorporated communities of County of San Diego

Please note: Net Energy Metering (NEM) or Solar Billing Plan (SBP) customers will transition during their annual true-up month.
